What it measures 

Measures a byproduct of methylation that accumulates when B12, B6, or folate is insufficient, or when MTHFR gene variants affect how your body processes them. Independent risk factor for cardiovascular disease and dementia. 

Best for 

Anyone with a family history of heart disease, stroke, or early cognitive decline. Also valuable if you already supplement B vitamins but have never confirmed your levels are actually optimal.
